The Payment Tracker is a new tool developed by Conduit that provides end-to-end visibility for cross-border transactions and allows users to track the status of each payment in real time, bringing greater transparency and trust to everyone involved in the process - from sender to recipient.

The result is a simple and intuitive interface that accurately displays the current status of the payment, the estimated time for settlement, and, in case of a delay, indicates the cause and the actions needed to resolve it.

Shareable Links: Recipients can track transaction status too

One of the main features of the Payment Tracker is Shareable Links, which allows users to share the status of a transaction through a secure and temporary link.

This means that even those without direct access to the Conduit portal, such as the end customer or a partner, can follow the payment progress with full visibility, without compromising the security or privacy of the information. It is also possible to customize the interface of this link with your brand’s logo and colors, conveying more trust and professionalism to the recipient.

How to access the Payment Tracker?

The Payment Tracker tool is now available on the Conduit platform, via API or web app. To access it, go to the transaction details within your Dashboard.

In the left-hand menu, click on Transactions, where you’ll see a list of all your payments. You can also filter transactions between Pending and Completed.

Select the transaction you want to view and track its status and payment details.

By clicking on the transaction details, you’ll see every stage it goes through, from creation to settlement in the destination account, along with an estimated completion time and detailed status information by selecting View Full Details.

What does each payment stage mean?

Each payment stage represents a specific phase in the transaction process:

Created: The payment has been initiated in the system. All the basic transaction information has been recorded, but the process has not yet moved forward to compliance review or financial processing.

Compliance Approved: The transaction has been approved by compliance controls. If there are any pending issues, such as missing documents or incomplete information in the RFI (Request for Information) process, this will be indicated at this stage, allowing you to take the necessary actions to release the payment.

Payment Processed: The payment is being processed, meaning the funds are moving through the payment network or between the financial institutions involved. At this stage, you can track the progress until final settlement.

Completed: The payment has been successfully completed, and the funds have reached the recipient.

How to share the payment tracker Shareable Link

Below the transaction timeline, click the Copy Tracking Link button to generate a tracking link that can be shared with recipients, clients, or partners, providing full visibility of the payment status. For security reasons, the shareable link automatically expires after 48 hours.
